at least you maintained the possibility thru the 10th frame until the last ball. I've seen plenty of guys lose their perfect game bid on the first ball of the 10th frame. My highest game I ever bowled was 286. I stopped bowling after that for about 3 years, and i've lost my touch. I carry roughly a 183 avg now. I hate it.

Trust me I know its cruel, its a load of bs haha but I'm not overly upset because with that score I have the high in the league. I get prize money for it so it wasn't all a loss

Handicap out of 200, my average started at 181, dropped to 163 for the previous 3 weeks. I haven't thrown many 200+ games for the league, I usually bowl on lanes with less oil.
But last night I really don't know, I just felt in the zone i guess. Before that game my best was 256 w/o a league haha. Just had a great game
