Bomani Jones is leaving? That's a damn shame. Nobody could bludgeon a sports audience with a conceptual overview of slavery as a distinct relation of domination, and examine the emergence of modern racial slavery and the retrenchment of racial oppression following the formal abolition of slavery. The way he focused on Black feminist, queer, and trans* activism and explored the struggle for social transformation and resistance by African Americans in the United States was fantastic. I'm going to miss that.

Although he does seem like a big NBA guy, so probably that whole group of fans likes him.
