So you think the SEC has worse offenses than the WAC, but you admit that the SEC is a defensive league. Do you see any possible correlation between those two statements?

Good point. But I'd still prefer to play against LSU and Alabama's style of offense than Hawaii and Nevada's. I think Auburn and Arkansas may revolutionize the SEC. You might start seeing more wide open offenses in the league.

LSU is not top 10. Not even close. I don't care about their record. If they played a real schedule. AKA playing OOC and playing road games they would lose 4-5 games a year.

Found this little gem on the Boise state board.... LINK

If boise gets BCS snubbed, they will be playing in the Kraft hunger bowl.

Hello all, I'm a Boise State fan, but I also like the SEC and watch as many SEC games as I can. Like many, I joined because of "As the Plains Burn," but that's off-topic.

I'm not going to come in here making predictions about how Boise would whoop LSU by this many points or whatever, because ultimately, LSU has to schedule us first. I do want to clear up a few things about Boise, though.

First off, turnovers were indeed a problem, but to be fair, there were wet conditions in Boise on Friday night leading to fumbling. Fresno's quarterback had just as much trouble with fumbles as Kellen did. As for the interceptions, Kellen threw his fifth one of the year so far. Only five this far into the season? I'll take that all day.

As far as the scheduling goes, I can understand that people perceive the WAC as a weak conference, because of their non-AQ status. But while the WAC lacks the budget and overall quality of your average AQ conference, they aren't as woeful as, say, the Big Least. Nevada is ranked, and Fresno State and Hawai'i are usually no pushovers (until they play Boise, that is). Also, Boise is moving on up to the Mountain West next year. Boise, TCU, Air Force, Nevada, Hawaii, Fresno State, and potentially Houston will all be in the same conference. Like it or not, that's a quality conference schedule.

Finally, from what I've seen of LSU, your defense is great, especially at forcing turnovers. But I've noticed a lot of people underestimating Boise's defense. They are excellent at putting pressure on the quarterback, forcing errant throws, and stuffing the run. Just look at how they stopped Ryan Williams (who went into the season as a Heisman candidate) and Jacquizz Rodgers this year. Or take a look at the whooping they laid on Oregon last year with largely the same defense.

I'm not saying you all have to love Boise or even like them, but I just wish people wouldn't pretend they're a bad team because of the conference schedule they are contractually obligated to play.

Oh, and Kellen Moore for Heisman. :)
