I seriously wonder if this guy has anything in him to make up a head coach.
I know there is difference in talent level between here in LSU & Nebraska. But the way he has been coaching in tonight's game against Missouri makes me wonder if our defense the past 3 seasons was worth anything. I seroulsy doubted this guy from our Tennesse's game back in 2005. Missouri is just piling up yards on the so called "CLASSIC PELINI DEFENSE"

I can never forget the 4th & 10 blow out against Arkansas last year.
The reason I started this thread was because the so called Co-Defensive co-ordinators at LSU now is because of the Pelini scheme which is what I guess is making our defense look bad.

Any comments guys?? Should we have gone out looking for a DC outside. When we had this position open after Pelini left I thought we shoul;d have hired the Pitt's Paul Rhodes who looks like a SEC calibre DC.

Sorry if GERMANS!!! But comments needed

1.) I think it's a little to early to judge Bo with Nebraska. Their defense should improve over the course of the season, and by next year I think it will be one of the best in the Big XII (that's not much of a stretch, I know)

2.) Our defensive problems this year as far as scheme are very different from those we had last year. Plus, this year we are much more aggressive.

Nebraska gave up 40 points or more 6 times last year. Kansas and Colorado combined to score over 140 points on them last year.

I doubt you've evaluated Rhoads' defenses with the same lens you did Pelini when he was here, considering he's never coached at LSU(Rhoads that is).

We finished in the top 3 in total defense the 3 years Pelini was here. And never lost more than 2 games/season while he was here.

I say give him some time.
