Staubach.
I'd love to see how guys like Fouts and he would do with the restrictions on CB's and defenses in general these days.

Stauback stats: LINK
6 Pro-Bowls; 4 Super Bowls with 2 wins
Aikman stats: LINK
6 Pro-Bowls; 3 Super Bowls, won all 3.
Why in the world do people list Super Bowls as a QB statistic? Number of super bowl appearances and/or super bowl wins is not an appropriate metric by which QBs should be judged.
Is this not self-evident? They have absolutely zero impact on half of the game. And we can debate what percentage of a team's offensive production can rightfully be assigned to the QB, but it is certainly less than than half, yes?
And so at best a QB can make a 25% contribution towards the winning or losing of a football game. The remaining 75% is completely out of their hands. And yet people continue to judge QBs based on Super Bowls
So dumb.

Oh, and Staubach was way better than Aikman.
Not even a close call.
Not even a close call.

Montana.
Steve Young was better than Montana.
I find it very difficult to entertain a discussion with Montana as the best QB of all time when he wasn't even the best QB on his own team.

Montan's the #1 QB of all time in my mind.
And yet he was the #2 QB on the 49ers. Weird.
