and then some black kid hitting a bottle cap with a broom takes all their schollies and draft slots when he decides to play baseball at 16.

Bats make a huge diff! Get a 2 3/4" barrel.
My 7yo in coaches pitch was hitting ok. Got him a new bat, boom instant change!
