He just gave up 9 earned runs in 2 2/3 innings. There goes my fantasy ERA and WHIP for the week... And he was looking great up until today. Thought he had turned it around again.

did you seriously expect a sub 3.50 ERA and 200 K's in 180 IP from Zito this season?
if he stays healthy the entire year he'll probably end up with around a 4.25 and 6.00 k/9. not worth having on your team unless you are in a 16-team league or need a SP to spot start and Zito is at AT&T facing the Padres.

touche Dan! yeah I picked him up for a spot start when Weaver went on the DL then didn't remember to take him off until it was too late and he was on the mound getting shelled.

That's the last thing the Giants need. Lincecum is all but done as a starter, Cain isn't looking too good, and now this.
