I remember a poster suggesting that Raising Canes sponsor a bowl game in the future. I thought it was a bit out there, but then I was looking through my bowl pick ‘em this year, and noticed a game sponsored by “Avocados from Mexico”. I know people like avocados and guacamole, but do these Mexicans really need to advertise by sponsoring a bowl game? I would think Raising Canes would have a higher operating budget and more incentive than the people behind Avocados from Mexico.

Hass Avacado imports into the US totals $6.5 billion in revenue per year. In comparison, Canes generates $3.1 billion in revenue per year

I also have to imagine operating costs is lower for avacado growth than running Canes stores, so I’m guessing the percentage difference in profit is even larger

Not that Canes can’t also do something fun with that kind of money. But no, they aren’t bringing in the same kind of money as Avocados from Mexico

Correction:
Do these “Avacado shell companies funded by the Mexican drug cartels” really need to advertise by sponsoring a bowl game?
