You gatekeeping little pussy.

Look, you're clearly mad that people are talking bad about the braves. But like, what else are they supposed to talk about?

The Braves are bad. If that offends you, then you either need to find a better way to handle it or leave.

And to be clear, I'm not saying leave to be a gatekeeper like you.

I'm saying if you're tired of gatekeeping everyone that says something negative about the Braves, you're going to probably drive yourself insane, because there isn't much positive to say.

Congrats big boy. You typed pussy on the internet. That doesn’t make you the super hero or super fan you think it does.

More crying!

This is a crazy melt 5 hours after the game ended

Are you mad because I'm saying something that's wrong or are you mad that I'm saying something you don't like?

There's a difference.

You and Broski’s beef aside, a few of us are frustrated that the team had glaring needs going into the offseason, and the front office did nothing to address them. We could see the needs. We still see the needs. They did nothing. Letting proven team leaders go lead other teams that are competing for championships while we slowly watch our championship hopes both now and for the near future crater. What looked like a decade-long championship window now has the fanbase at large talking about firing managers and starting a rebuild. Then there’s the constant nostalgic retreads.

It’s a disaster, and anyone brushing it aside or sugar-coating it at this point is fricking annoying. You’ve been a fan for 50 years and you won’t stop watching. That’s great, but no one asked or gives a shite. We’re talking about the 2025 Braves being a mess for no good reason.

The "beef" is solely based on him being mad at me for pointing out how much we've botched this season.

Some excerpts from the offseason thread regarding Arcia at SS.

quote:

He makes the plays that need to be made, that's all I care about.

quote:

Are we seriously arguing that Orlando isn't an above average defensive shortstop?

quote:

Whether Arcia or Kelenic are the starters on opening day means very little.

quote:

Arcia is fine as long as 1-8 is carrying their weight. He can just worry about playing defense if that's the case.

The Braves have a damn good team, all of this poor-mouthing is crazy.

AA got in on the action as well. All the Arcia offseason gaslighting was actually insane

Fair enough, but Vegas said the roster was good enough in the preseason. Here’s a couple of links giving the Braves good preseason predictions. The continual return to the offseason thread to say I told you so doesn’t carry much weight when all of baseball thought the Braves would be good. We knew SS wouldn’t provide much offense, but we didn’t know Braves outfielders would only have 12 homers at this point in the season. It looked like we’d have decent production from LF going into the season, but that didn’t turn out. Closer is another spot that appeared decent, with Jiminez there to cover for Iggy if he dropped off. But Joe ended up getting surgery fairly late in the spring if I remember correctly.

This is a hell of a way to say "You can't be right even though you were right"

No, we knew SS wouldn't provide anything.

SS has been a solid defensive position for the Braves. And that would be fine if other positions that should provide offense hadn’t fallen off a cliff.
