I'm glad I didn't sign up for the annual FanDuel TV package and opted for the monthly
Strikes me that when other teams have mediocre or very young players put in aberration seasons, they still hedge bets and try (when possible) to add certainty through acquisitions of more steady performers.
Whereas we hope for the best - and that someone injured will return quickly without drop-off, that the best-of-career performance of a mediocre player will be repeated, that a young player who showed promise will continue you on the upward trajectory without any slump. And then we build the rest of the team with paperclips and rubber bands.
To AA's credit, that's often worked.
