CSNH-Houston Astros
Fox Sports-Rangers

When the Astros and Rangers were on Fox Sports, BR and N.O. was a Astros area. The Astros had the N.O. Zephyrs as a AAA team back from 97-04 and had radio affiliates in Louisiana. When the Astros left for Comcast Sports the Rangers were still Fox Sports so they took over the Fox Sports broadcasts in Louisiana.

Check out David Barron with the Chron. He's been on top of the whole CSN mess with a bunch of stories on it.

you are going to have to hope that Crane can get the blackout lifted.

Lip service on Crane's part. He said the same line back in November that he said a few weeks ago "we're working to get the blackout lifted so our fans can watch their Astros". So it sounds like no progress has been made in that arena. 2 weeks out from opening day, it's not likely to happen.
