Tulane should play 1-AA. I mean seriously, how many of their 12 fans would they lose if they dropped down? Hell, they could probably actually be pretty good on a 1-AA level. And while you are at it, get out of that shitty CUSA.

Am I reading this right, only four commits and the highest is a 3star?

You mean that's an improvment in recruiting for Tulane?

The current number/star quality of recruits is not unusual for CUSA teams (Southern Miss., UCF, Marshall, Tulsa, East Carolina, Memphis, SMU, UTEP, Houston and Rice).

In 2008, CUSA had:
- Only one 5-star recruit (Southern Miss.)
- Only three 4-star recruits (Southern Miss.-2, Tulsa-1).

Pathetic?!

Tulane is 17-14-6 all-time versus Auburn.

Last meeting:
In 2006, Auburn beat Tulane 38-13 in the cow pasture.

Congrats, Tulane is 0-1 versus Auburn since 1955.

Nothing but haters.

Just trying to talk college football in July.

I feel for all those jacked up sidewalk fans of the second best public school in Alabama.

Payten Jason is a nice pickup. I think Tulane is doing well (I'm a Tulane grad). There's some good kids I know on that team, especially Andrew Nierman and Casey Robottom.

I'm pretty excited about Payten Jason - as well as the other recruits Toledo is chasing after.

SEC scraps at best, but I'll take it.

Winning is rare, but it isn't impossible at Tulane. Just takes smart/frugal recruiting by a committed coach, AD and administration.

See, I wish Tulane well. Tulane is NOT a threat to LSU and I'd be happy if they would win / be competitive in CUSA.

Good luck

I would like to see them do well also - good to see they are recruiting more LA kids under Toledo.

Now that I guess I have some Tulane people here, if I want to go to a game on some Saturdays, how do I go about getting tickets?

Or does it even matter because attendance sucks?
