So Denham Springs, Walker, & Live Oak are now in a district with Dutchtown, St Amant. & East Ascension now. No longer will they be in district with EBR schools. So now Catholic, Scotlandville, Zachary, Woodlawn, & Central have to battle over EBR. Any thoughts?

I will miss the Catholic-St. Amant rivalry even if it was becoming apparent that SA couldn’t quite keep up.

The LP schools finished 4, 5 & 6 in their district. The AP schools finished 3, 4 & 5 in their district.
The EBR district will have two #1 seeds, plus a 4, 6 & 13 seed.
If you can’t beat the schools you are playing, take your ball and go somewhere else.

AP schools have dominated Woodlawn since they’ve been mixed in with the BR schools. Woodlawn just suddenly got good, whenever they got a coach, who is known for breaking the rules. Other than the last 2 seasons, they were just like McKinley. Catholic was always the team to beat. St. Amant was the closest to beating them, and did a few times.

All in all, it makes more sense to keep EBR together, and create a metro BR district. AP teams should dominate.
