Cade Cunningham finished 14-of-45 from the field in 46 minutes. By missing 31 shots, he broke Kobe Bryant’s record of 30 missed field goals, which is the most since the NBA started keeping track of all these stats in the '83-'84 season. Kobe set the record on Nov. 7, 2002 when he scored 41 points on 17-of-47 shooting in an overtime loss to the Celtics.

He also joined Michael Jordan as the only 2 players to ever have at least 40 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, and 5 steals.

Final stat line:
46 points
12 rebounds
11 assists
5 steals
2 blocks

I can't believe a self-professed volume shooter like Antoine Walker doesn't hold that record.

Because his dad played in leagues around the world Kobe spoke five or six different languages. He did a full interview with a Japanese film crew after his 1st game in Dallas. I was impressed.

When I read the thread title, my immediate impulse was to join the thread and needle whoever it was, by saying

"Anytime you break a record held by Kobe it's impressive ... because that level of inefficiency is hard to match'.

Good to see I wasn't disappointed by the reality.
