Suck it
quote:
$60 million Dabo Swinney's contract with Clemson, a 10-year extension signed in 2022 worth $115 million and running through 2031, includes a buyout clause requiring the university to pay him $60 million if fired without cause during the 2025 season. This amount can be paid in full within 90 days of termination or in installments through 2031, with no offset if he takes another coaching job. The figure remains unchanged from 2024 and ranks as the fifth-highest in college football, making a firing highly unlikely despite Clemson's 1-2 start to the 2025 season.

Texas Longhorns football program generates the most revenue for its university among college football teams. In the 2023 fiscal year (the latest fully reported data as of mid-2025), it reported $182 million in football-specific revenue, outpacing all others by at least $20 million. This figure includes ticket sales, donations, media rights, and other football-related income, which directly supports the University of Texas at Austin's athletic department and broader operations. For context, Ohio State ranked second at around $162 million, followed closely by Georgia and Michigan. Preliminary 2024 data suggests Texas maintained its lead, potentially exceeding $200 million amid its SEC transition and playoff success.

Hi. You seem lonely in here. I'm not staying though. Watching football. Good luck with your thread though.

Crazy that the colleges have allowed the coaches to bend them over along with the players now.
