1. Matt Barkley - Agree, he's pretty damn good.
2. Geno Smith - Hahahahaha.
3. Aj McCarron - Hahahahaha.
4. Denard Robinson - HAHAHAHAHA
5. Aaron Murray - Should be at least 3rd.
What the hell is wrong with this preseason list? Geno and McCarron both played excellent against one of the better defenses in the nation. Much better than Murray.

What Texas Tech Qb has been good in the NFL? Top 5 returning Qbs to me have to take in the scheme they play in. He had the 4th most attempts in football. And yes, I know Landry threw it more, but that is where competition comes into play. I would have Geno around 6th/7th. And he had almost a 2000 yard improvement from when Holgorsen was hired. If he keeps the same stats next year, he will be a top 3 Qb at the end of the season. Big If though.

As an LSU fan, I say this is accurate. He will be the best QB in the SEC next season in my opinion. His decision making was very good and will improve. I'll take the heat for my opinion, but SOPH don't just wake up and complete 70% of their passes in the BCSNCG.

Aaron Murray 5th, really? Where is Tyler Wilson? Landry Jones? Wilson is considered maybe the top QB in the SEC, yet he isn't even top 5? And below Denard Robinson, really? If you think Robinson is a better Qb then either Murray or Wilson, then you are crazy. Better athlete, yes. Not a better Qb.

You should be over the fact that Alabama dominated LSU by now. You sound sad with flame posts.

Barkley-sure
Geno S. - Nope
McCarron- I think he'll be alright, but not top 5.
Murray- Absolutely
Denard- Top 10, sure, not sure about top 5

Geno threw it 65 times against LSU. He only had 2 td's and 2 interceptions and completed less then 60% of his passes. That is an average to below average day and is supported by the fact that it was his 2nd lowest rated game of the season.

Denard Robinson is a QB in name only. After watching his games, and that dreadful Sugar Bowl in person, its pretty safe to say he can't throw for shite.

I have him tied for 4th with James Franklin, maybe just a hair ahead of Franklin.

From the SEC, I'd take Tyler Wilson, Tyler Bray, and Aaron Murray over him for sure. You could also argue, like you said, that James Franklin is better, and AJ McCarron also had similar stats with Connor Shaw even though Shaw didn't play the first 4 or so games.
Point blank, you are delusional if you have McCarron on a top 5 list with college football's best quarterbacks.

And I'm not just picking on AJ McCarron, because DeNard Robinson doesn't deserve to be on that list, either. His running ability is the only thing that brings him close.
