It's not even the pen that's been that bad, just Dyson. In three games, he has come in to tie game or a save situation. In those three games, he has 2 IP, 2 BB, 1 K, and ELEVEN earned runs. Obviously, the Rangers lost all three games.
Removing Dyson, the pen has thrown for 23.1 IP and allowed 6 runs for an ERA of 2.31. Dyson has been spectacularly awful, and is the only reason the Rangers are below 500 right now. (Or, the fact they have no other closer with Bush hurt)
