re: Aloha Stadium shut down & expected to be condemed leaving Hawaii with no home field

On TV, the stadium never looked like it was in that poor condition. But there was nothing that ever stood out about it either.

I remember Notre Dame played there too one year. And they almost lost. For one year when Timmy Chang was QB, our local affiliate showed all the Hawaii home games. It was random as hell. I loved staying up until 2:00 in the morning watching Hawaii. And the cheerleaders always were nice to look at. But I never figured out why they were shown here thousands of miles away for that one year.
