Lillard is just as bad if not worse defensively; Harden or Lowry should've been second team with Lillard and Thompson vying for the last spot.

I wouldn't be totally opposed to that either...

Still though there is a major amount of both front and back court talent, so I do understand why they keep those spots there. At the same time, while there is still significant C talent in the league, it is playing a smaller and smaller role in many teams (most notable Golden State). I'm not sure that the designation of Center deserves protection at this point.

Well Green got fricked out of a 1st team center spot because he received more votes as a forward...and when that happens the voting system categorizes you as forward instead.

He would have been first team.

Point being as long as their talent at center, the position should be recognized. It's the heart of defense.

Also, the league went through a 10 year cycle of bad or injured centers.

They are coming back now.

Not really. Two seasons ago? Sure. This last season? No

A 1st team front court of Green (setting aside everything that has happened in the post season), Durant, Leonard makes more sense.

Of course it does, but in the neo NBA he's playing center a lot.

AD isn't a center. never has been, never was, never will be. he's a power forward. he doesn't have the frame to play 82 games against the Deandre jordans and towns of the world

really you're right on this. towns should have been on that list
