I watched the game on Unimas, much more enjoyable listening to the Spanish broadcast. Even they called the Yankees a bunch of jotos.

They were probably saying “Soto”, but you were just projecting your strange fantasies again. Not my place to kink shame, you do you!

Anybody wanna volunteer to do tomorrow's gameday post? I'm gonna be heading to the Texas State Fair and the Texas-OU game.

Dads are in a good position to advance, but it’s tough to bet against the Dodgers.

Nah what they were saying is they were old enough to remember when the Yankees actually won shite and didn’t slob all over message boards about beating a franchise that lost 106 games last year.

Darvish vs Ohtani two times in the same series is awesome. Yamamoto struggles against the Padres, and could get yanked early. Flaherty is on full rest and could be up in the pen pretty quick if SD gets a lead. It does no good to try to save him for NLCS Gm 1 if you get eliminated.

I'm going with the Padres to win it. Darvish deals and Tatis stays hot. SD has the fresh bullpen to close it out.

Roberts said they believe he was tipping his pitches and that they've worked on it. We'll find out. The one thing I definitely know is I'm going to be drinking and nervous as hell tonight. It's been a helluva good series and this is now officially a very heated rivalry for the foreseeable future with both teams having loaded rosters. It has always been the Giants but with their falling off in recent years the high stakes aren't there. The Padres have stepped up to fill the villain role.

And one of the top 4 teams in the AL this year…it’s almost like teams can improve in the offseason.

Did you watch last year’s World Series?

Are you even arguing for a side right now? It feels like you’re just being combative at this point.

Anyway, I’m done entertaining you, back to Padres vs. Dodgers.

That’s strange, because your last post seemed like a stray at one of the most improved teams in baseball this year. You would think that you as a Rangers fan would appreciate that, considering you just watched your team win a World Series featuring two teams that had 100+ losses two years prior.

Being a hater is no way to go through life, son.

Trust me when I tell you, from where I’m standing, it’s incredibly fun to loud cap the Yankees. Nobody has done less with more the past quarter century.

The logical part of me says this, just feel like the Dodgers do it though.

Same. Tonight sets up perfectly for San Diego, but something tells me Shohei will Shoh out tonight.

Would be something to see the "B Teams" from New York and California (historically San Diego is the C team, I guess) playing a series against each other
