I guess my point is that the only time they struggle is when they play true road games(usually SEC play). Other than that, they seem to win pretty big. I was just wondering if they should get less credit for winning away from home since it's usually at a neutral site.

We usually play better on the road than at home.

Has LSU gone anywhere OOC since West Virginia in 2011?

Syracuse 2 years ago...and LSU plays at Texas in 2019.

All these neutral site season openers are ruining potential to have OOC home-and-home series vs quality P5 opponents. Most of the better SEC programs have gone to playing a decent OOC opponent on a neutral site, then 3 home games vs G5/FCS level opponents.

theyll continue to schedule their 3 FCS/G5 schools until forced to do otherwise

They played in Clemson this year. And have neutral site games scheduled vs Washington next year and Oregon in 2019. All teams who have been to CFP in the past couple seasons. I doubt Auburn is afraid to schedule ND. Probably either conflict with already scheduled games or ND wanting something extra to sweeten the deal for them.

Swarbrick has publicly said over and over again that he has tried to get a home and home OR a neutral site game with Auburn
Yeah I'm sure he hasn't lied. To believe one sides word over the other is silly. So we'll just agree to disagree there.

And why should they? We played 3 of the Top 4 teams in the country, had 3 road trips in 4 weekends that totaled 3,717 miles, and had nobody arguing against our schedule

Smart move for anyone who realizes risk vs reward
