to be fair they did get beat by Middle Tennessee State

their stadium is like 30 mins away from campus, not to mention that it's a small, private college with a small student body

it's actually amazing that they had so much success in the 80s-2000s

Miami is DONE. Once the Orange Bowl, in the heart of the hood where the players were from, was torn down it was all over. All the alums can show up but it's like Nebraska football, just a memory.

Then you weren't watching previous games in Miami. Miami fans don't support their team. It's not a well-kept secret. They show up on football forums to declare their football fandom but can't show up at a great facility like Hard Rock Stadium to see their team. They are mostly pretenders. Always have been.

Attendance was the same in the Orange Bowl. I remember a game my freshman year against CSU in the Orange Bowl when we were ranked top 5. There were maybe a few thousand in the stands and 100 students at most.
