This track races like old Daytona now. Don’t know how many races like these were gonna get as the track is wearing rapidly

How can Toyota be shite for qualifying and all the sudden Reddick can drive up to contest the lead?
I know on plate tracks they take the plates after qualifying and reissue before race at least they used to.
Something is fishy that I know. Can it be ECU?
Gains since start:
Reddick +38
Bell +27
Wallace +12
Gibbs +12
Hamlin +12
Herbst +11
I mean come on Nascar

Looks like once settled out it will be a parade

drivers told to save fuel -- my guess is because they might go to Lap 130 without pitting (splitting the stage would be Lap 110-115) just in case it rains right at the halfway point

Clarification - this cell is moving east & expected to stay south of @EchoParkSpdwy
That doesn’t mean we can’t have a stray lightning bolt but it’s not expected

Can you imagine the NOAP booth doing this race! It would be so much better
Posted on 7/12/26 at 7:20 pm to OU Guy
This is the kind of green flag run I wanted the NOAPS race to have last night.
Posted on 7/12/26 at 7:22 pm to sledgehammer
Exactly! Atlanta is so much better than Dega and Daytona
Posted on 7/12/26 at 7:28 pm to sledgehammer
Why couldn’t they push up the start time today?
Posted on 7/12/26 at 7:29 pm to Fus0623
I don’t know, but I bet OU knows the scuttlebutt.
