Do you really think the Capitals drop this game ? Annti Niemi is in net tonight for Montreal. Dude is terrible. 0-5-1 with a 4.85 gaa and .865 save percentage. Ovechkin alone should carry the team to a win right?

that golden knights ML is strange. vegas predicting a letdown after last night and FLA is rested and at home.
I want to hit the over for MTL-WASH but I don't think montreal can score on Grubauer

I think they are expecting letdown. But no team has played well off the bye and Florida is coming off the bye. Plus they were on a losing streak before that. I think the Golden Knights have a lot of intangible energy being the unexpected leader of the league and I'm hoping they want to prove a point tonight. Plus they are just flat out better anyways. But we shall see. Couple whacky deflections or something could mess me up.

The Caps have never beaten Niemi in regulation in eight tries. By contrast, they light up Carey Price like he's, well, like he's Antii Niemi.

He is a checking line player. He's a great checking line player. I love him on the fourth line. Look, Jay Beagle is my favorite Cap. I love his grit and determination. But I would have an aneurysm if he was on the top line.
I even like moving Oshie to the 3rd line to artificially give the team depth. But at least put a credible middle 6 winger in that spot. I want Tom Wilson there, but we could also do Burakovsky, though he's deep in the dog house right now.

Speaking of DSP, I remember Ducks fans being really high on Emerson Etem. Their 3 picks from Rounds 1-2 that year were Fowler, Etem, DSP.
