2015-2018 was the most boring time to be a sports fan in terms of parity

A few things to notice:
Alabama and Clemson had just started their 4 year exchange of post season championships.
Golden State and Cleveland met eachother in the finals every year during that time span except 2018.
If you go by end of year in NFL rather than actual NFL season, the New England Patriots had gone to the Super Bowl twice in 3 years by early 2017. 3 times by 2018.
Villanova would win 2 basketball championships in 3 years by 2018.
The most exciting storyline that came out of that time was the Cubs winning the World Series. Otherwise there was a lot of talent and money hoarding by dynasty programs and organizations for whatever reason.

Agreed but 2016 probably give us the greatest year of title games of all time
Cubs Game 7 to break longest drought in sports history
28-3(2017 Super Bowl but for the 2016 season)
Clemson walk off against Bama for Natty
Cavs-Warriors Game 7
