Yo asp! Hope it holds off. Hard Not To Like is my pick in the Oaks. Just trying to figure out who else to put in there.

After looking at this for 2 days, I like Grace Hall, Summer Applause, Eden's Moon, and Jemima's Pearl on top of several in the exacta.

I like On Fire Baby, but I think the rail is a bad spot.

The TVG guys like Hard Not To Like at 20-1, but I'm just not convinced that she will like the dirt. I'll probably include her in my exacta, though.

I'm telling ya I love summer applause.

Did I tell you who boy and I got in the pool? He drew trinniberg and I laughed, so of course I then drew prospective

I'm gonna do a wps on the la bred (something time) in the American turf.

And go macho man!

Did I ever tell you boy tried to claim nate's mineshaft, and the guy wouldn't drop the slip? He also works with boy, and said the horse wouldn't amount to anything.

Read a little while ago that she looks really good this morning. Think I'll play her with Grace Hall and Hard Not To Like

nice

here's an interesting little tidbit about your draw:

quote:

Prospective resembles his sire and overall has the conformation of a typical A.P. Indy colt. He has the body of a two turn horse with a deep, slanted shoulder balanced by a powerful hind end. He’s an average sized (16.0 – 16.2 hands) colt with normal musculature. Prospective is an athletic runner with no wasted motion and offers a good burst of sustained speed when asked. He’s shown the ability to stalk and recently, with added blinkers, he’s altered his running style to sit a length off of the lead.

Thanks for the heads up. Good look to your horse btw!

I'm with you. Nates Mineshaft is going to be tough in that race though.

Speaking of.

Good deeds needs to win 8 belles. Her mommy is my baby daddy's mommy.

Hey R2R, Albarado is off his mounts today due to being arrested. Does this change your selection of Hard Not To Like?

Aspy, what's the weather like at Churchill? I heard it might get wet today.

Nice. He's pretty hot lately. Last seven races finished 4 wins, 2 3rd place and 1 9th. All at Hollywood. Anybody know his m.o. at Churchill?

so whats your thoughts on the crowd at 3-6 positions in the derby. Lot of good horses next to each other

3 - you know what Calvin is going to do
4 - think UR is the horse to beat if he gets a good trip. needs to sit back off the pace a little more than usual and try to find a good opening about 3 wide when they turn for home. i love his ability to finish a race.
5 - Desormeaux on board bodes well for this horse here. if he gets an honest pace no doubt he can run down whoever is in front.
6 - if Bode man is too far off the pace throughout I don't see him hitting the board. this year's Dialed In, IMO.
