Yeah right. Like you can get any reception at Commonwealth.

ETA: My wife wasn't raised on horses like I was. I was not going to the game because my mom was, but I'm not going to make my wife go to the game by herself on her birthday.

you don't know him he's an assistant, though you'd probably know some of the people he started out working for

he's a silly canadian.

who you have your horses with?

the horse who is the reason we met is in the first race today. Go Grand Traverse!!!

though he's 8 now and showing it a bit :(

most horses don't just get lasix for every race... they get it before every work too

and what is kick gate? i've been stuck at the barn and not really paying as much attention as i should this year?

any idea why Santiva was scratched from Race 2 today?

He was a vet scratch.

that doesn't always mean he was hurt. trainer can ask the vet to scratch them. i don't remember if it helps them keep a better race date, or if it's easier, or if they don't get penalized...?

there's some reason for it, though

Ran 4 times, hit the board with a 2nd in the Risen Star in Feb. Nothing even close since.

lol i know who grand terverse is.

Actually I don't own a horse in training I own a broodmare and a weaning. Actually, the mare in question is Ben's Cat's half sister (My nin). Needless to say I'm quite peeved the bastard did not go to the Breeders cup turf. You would not believe me if It old you how much I bought her for. Previous owner tried to get out of the deal once Ben's Cat started getting national pub. you snooze you loose. though honestly I'm not all that crazy about the foal "(a filly) and might sale, she's by siphon.

thinking about getting in the claiming game but claiming really isn't my gig. I'd honestly rather by a decent broodmare and just wait.

the track is DEFIANTLY MUDDY. and the inner rail is like putting your horse in reverses gear so far. Even the first that won in the first race, was in the middle of the track even though he had the lead the entire race.

maybe needed a little more track?

4 horse has been trending.. 3 1 2 1 4 in his last five races. had to figure he would hit the board this race. 7 didn't put up a fight.
