Heat/Thunder finals

Durant MVP

Lebron Finals MVP

TTF's incredibly accurate season predictions:

Serge Ibaka becomes a top 10-15 big man in the L

Wade suffers a serious injury and Lebron leads the Heat to a title without him

Chris Paul leads the L in assists and steals

The Lakers struggle to make the playoffs and suck in general

OKC over Chicago in an anticlimactic finals-- the conference championships are going to provide the most competitive matchups, as the Bulls edge the Heat in 7, and OKC takes down Memphis in 6.

A few other predictions:

MVP: Chris Paul
ROY: Kemba Walker (Bobcats are garbage = big #s)
6th Man: Jamal Crawford

Boston starts out reasonably hot, and` fades; the Clips start out slowish, but heat up going into the playoffs; the Heat feast on a weak Eastern Conference, but lack real challenges until the playoffs; Minnesota surpasses 26 wins; the Lakers start middling, get a little streak together, but the wheels come off late-- not enough to miss the playoffs, but enough to keep them from HCA against the best of the West. San Antonio creeps into the playoffs as an 8th seed.

I'm going a little out on the limb with Chicago. I just feel like Rip will be huge for them, and their defense will carry them in the postseason.

The West is wide open, so I expect home-court to be a big factor there. OKC got some good experience last year, and I expect them to make the jump to the Finals this year.

*Indiana will surprise people in the East.

*New York will be more mediocre than people think.

*Memphis is built for the postseason.

*San Antonio and the Lakers will look as old as they are.

*The Clippers will have a great regular season.

*Denver is my surprise team of the year.

2003 Spurs were the last really young team to win in terms of ages. Duncan was 27. Parker was 21. Stephen Jackson was 25. Manu Ginobli was 25. Malik Rose was 28.

Then you had the Admiral, Bruce Bowen, Steve Smith, and Steve Kerr. All of those guys were old, but 5 of the their top 7 players were 28 or younger. That's not crazy young, but it's not very old either. Even with their young ages, all of these players (besides Parker and Ginobli) had a lot of experience.

Makes sense this group won three times together.
