again, like pitchers, they have a lot more control than a QB, and it's stupid regardless

if boldin doesn't make about 4 amazing catches last night, does that change flacco's rating?

I like how people try to flip everything to make their argument. You're right, all of it was Boldin, not Flacco. I assume one of the catches you were talking about was the back shoulder throw in the second half on third and inches. That throw was absolutely frickin perfect. It could not have been put in a better spot. Yes, great catch by Boldin. But just as good of a throw by Flacco.

Why do you want the guy to fail so bad? For your own personal gain so you can come jump on the MSB and brag about how you told everyone he wasn't very good? Your life must be pretty worthless to root so hard for a guy to just be average so you can be the guy that told everyone he wasn't good. Not sure why it would be so hilarious to watch him "fall back to average".

Lulz

I'm a Steelers fan. My hatred for Flacco isn't hard to understand. Plus, besides this postseason, he's never really impressed me. Lets let the guy play like this way more consistency before we make him seem like a fricking top 5ish QB.

i'm not flipping anything. i'm providing examples of how a lot of other shite had to happen for the ravens to win

does that change what flacco did? no

you need to go read the first sentence of your post

and collin kappernick had a perfect 40-50 yard strike that would have been a TD but was dropped

his fault, obviously

How so?

Also, I never said it is the greatest stat in the world. But it is discussed. That is a fact. Pitchers, like QBs, are the hero when the team is winning and the goat when the team is losing. Thats how it is.

oh so if we use measures of his actual consistency, we may be able to say he's not consistent? awesome

Some stats can't be measured. He's proven that he can lead his team to victory, which is more important than any numerical statistic.

which is why i argue they should invest in a cheap/young QB option to be the next flacco and deal flacco to a team for draft picks. the team has already shown what it can do with a mediocre QB

Mediocre? Please. There is no "cheap/young QB" who could replace Flacco. And if you think there is, you're wrong.

I don't think you understand. I clearly said it was a great catch. It was also a great throw. No credit taken away from Boldin whatsoever. But, it was also a perfect throw.

To Vernon Davis? You've got to be kidding me...the ball hit his hands on about the 30 and there was a safety right in front of him...he wouldn't have gotten passed the 20 yard line.

look at where he ranked this year. by almost every objective measure, he was right in the fatty part of the middle

I don't think anyone has called him a top 5 QB. I certainly didn't. I just don't understand all the hate. I am a Saints fan, but its not like I sit there and say Matt Ryan sucks. This guy is the most debated QB in the NFL for some reason. I guess he doesn't give a shite, he won a Super Bowl.

Good god. I guess you aren't even going to try and be anywhere near accurate with your debate anymore.

I wish Denver's safety knew how to play a prevent coverage so I wouldn't be having this conversation with people.

If memory serves, he was off balance and it would've been a difficult catch. And there was a safety.

The Crabtree drop (on the deep ball) was worse IMO.
