I'm curious to see what Bubba served for Champions dinner tonight. It was hush hush. Anyone hear what he picked? Curious cause Bubba could do something strange.

Previous winner picks meal and pays check. Then receives inscribed masters gold locket.

I'd go with steak/lobster combo.

I read years ago that if they didn't like what the champion selected for dinner, they could order off the menu and the champ picked up the tab. I've yet to read or hear that anybody has had to wash dishes.

If Toms ever wins, I hope he has a huge crawfish boil on the grounds. I think that would blow some of their minds.

Word is that Tiger didn't like it and ordered something else and Bubba cried.

Yea, I've heard about being able to order something besides what the champion is serving, but I didn't know about anyone picking up a check. I'd actually be surprised if that's true. I find it hard to believe a club that can put this event on without sponsors would charge any of those Masters winners for their Champions dinner.

did you see the tweet below that from Brian Floyd?

It also wouldn't shock me if Bubba Watson served sushi off a naked Rickie Fowler

I read years ago that Ben Hogan started the tradition of the Champion's dinner and the previous years champ picking up the tab. I think they can afford it.

To this day, tradition holds that the current champion chooses the menu, pays the check and receives an inscribed gold locket in the form of the Augusta National emblem
