What's going on with Dow Chemical? it's P/E is through the roof. It doesn't appear to be covering its dividends through continuing operations. I haven't dug into the financials to deeply. Is something amiss?

I work there and can tell you the state of the company for what they have said publicly . Dow is cash strapped. They have paused several large projects, and have sold several assesses to increase cash flow. There feed stock prices are up and the market is not supporting higher product support. Dow is projecting this slump to last until 2027.

I have an acquaintance that works there and he’s always talking about how slow things are now and some of his staff were laid off so now he has to actually work. That’s all I got.
