Markets are forward looking. They also have already started rebounding well before headlines catch up. They crash quicker and rebound quicker than the economy. It's why timing the market is impossible.

Well then we should be much much lower right now. The economic pain is just beginning. In fact, one could argue the economy is still relatively strong. I think q1 2023 sees a 10-15 retrace to test lows. Small bounce around but ultimately continue stair step pattern down and finally capitulate in q3 and put a bottom around 3000 for the s&p.

We still have companies like caravana out there…
