Things I’ve heard about Chase the past few years is they have a lot of lazy young bucks and their commercial loan officers are slap dicks. I’ll never do any business with Chase just based off of what I’ve heard irl and what I’ve read on here.

With all due respect and as a life long Community banker, if you’re asking yourself this question at 9:00 at night and 3 hours AFTER the next round of funding has been released you’re basically fricked. You should have made this decision about a week ago and been in a better position for round 2.

With that being said, you could luck out and be towards the front of chase’s line. I wish you luck, but too late to look for a backup plan now IMO.

Why are you replying to me? I’m not asking any questions. I used a community bank and got funded earlier this week

Why am I an idiot? I posted answering the OP’s question. Please enlighten me and tell me where I should have done it rather than just hitting reply in the thread. Go turn your nightlight off.

Was it because of not enough payroll documentation? They rejected me for that reason. Yesterday I opened a business account with Iberia, and there is a lady who is submitting my PPP application today. But I’m actually in communication with a person... for all I know I forgot to click a button or something with chase, so all I got was a canned letter

Yes. I had uploaded my 2019 tax return. That’s really the only thing on their list I had available to give them unless they wanted a p and l.

I didn’t have to provide any tax returns for PPP.

He must be self-employed. They had to submit tax returns. My wife submitted ours yesterday for her little bookkeeping company.

Oh makes sense. I’m an SCorp and we haven’t even filed for 2019 yet but we did have to submit our 2019 and 2020! Payroll.

Yes self employed. Figured since I’m a one man show, I wouldn’t get shite. Just sucks they pulled my personal credit before denying me and my score dropped 6 points. Bastards lol.

Yes, they can prioritize your place in line. They manually enter these applications into a template which is downloaded to SBA. He can put yours in the top of the pile? How do I know? My banker did this for me and I got my funding for 2 companies on Tuesday. Round 2 started getting entered on Wednesday. Don’t miss out.

Applied through Chase round 1 with no luck. Just sent everything over to a local PA bank that had 80% of their applicants funded in round 1 and there's only that remaining 20% ahead of me in line for round 2 so fingers crossed.

Update: All of my applications were approved last night through the local PA bank! Not a single update from Chase.
