Need some help understanding a tender offer. I’ve never gotten this before an E*trade just notified me that DWAC is offering a tender option for 10.87 one or before March 20. Is this offering 10.87 on top of each share price or is it 10.87 a share for a stock currently tradin

They want you to sell your $50 shares to them for $10 now to avoid the risk of their dropping in value IF the upcoming merger vote fails.

Dwac is insane. $10B valuation for a company that generated $3.4m in revenue in the first 9 months of 2023.

Thanks. As mentioned, I’ve never had seen this before and thought I was reading wrong in the offer of $40 lower than current price
