I was one day late on putting a bunch in FSLY and TDOC. I just had to wake up and do it at 3AM.

Me too. I thought I did good dumping a ton more in TDOC @ 205 and FSLY at 89.....should’ve waited a day. I’m committed long term now.

I just started a month ago. Same thing happened at the start of that. 3 weeks later I was up a lot.

I am kind of playing with house money. Cashed in 3500 in PTO and got a 5% bonus at work because of the pandemic (I work at home so I don't know why). Playing around with 5K to get a feel for the market.

He's heavy on Roku and TTD.

...and let's not forget all these stocks that dropped are up huge over the last few weeks/months. The drops after earnings and this pullback should have been somewhat expected.

Hell, after Tuesday my portfolio--which is heavily in tech right now--was up 34% over the previous 7 trading days. That's insanity for mid and large caps.

I’m obviously not talking about since March. Didn’t know Roku rebounded to finish up a couple dollars today.

man I am bent up about this LVGO/TDOC bullshite.
LVGO owners are pissed because they sold out cheap, TDOC owners are pissed they paid too much and diluted the shares, the market overall hates the deal and/or doesn’t understand it, and here i sit with large positions in each bleeding out.

nothing about this is positive. Shareholders didn’t want it and the market didn’t want it. the combined company will do great but shareholders get fricked

I'm still pissed as well. Their combination will be a powerhouse though. I think I am going to invest a ton in it.

I get it that the new company will be a monster, certainly.
the problem is that existing shareholder equity in BOTH companies is being trampled

and there’s not a real path to make anyone whole

it’s a disaster

I don't know. I am learning fast. I've been in the game for a month. I've spent the last 6 hours getting as much info I can on the stocks I think might be of interest.

My original plan was to stick with both—I had 300 LVGO and 100 TDOC. I was up big and felt I could weather the storm and maybe buy more. I ended up selling some yesterday, then getting rid of the rest today.

With the amount of disappointment from shareholders on both sides, litigation may be a real possibility, which could be disastrous from a share holder perspective. Considering we’re still months away, I just didn’t want to risk being caught up in that with such a large position, relative to my portfolio.

If you stick with it, I hope for the best. I’m sure I’ll own the new TDOC, or LVGO if it doesn’t go through, again once the dust settles.

My starting position with LVGO was at 52. It was a hell of a ride.

If Only I would have bought chegg stock instead of a chegg account in college I’d be rich.
