JNUG is a 3x EFT for 300% leverage. It is meant as a one day buy/sell, so its quite dangerous as a long term hold.

I try to day/swing trade JNUG and make small gains but it is risky thats why setting a stop loss is so important.

i try to gain .20-.40 cents and then sell - its a good way to scoop $50 or so (depending on your buy in).

but i do not blame anyone from entirely staying away from it.

I am about even on JNUG and have held for about three days. I will try to make a profit next week. I bought AUPH at 3.65 about a week ago and up a little over $1000 right now. I may have to take a profit next week. I am using some of my cash position in my IRA so I can afford to lose it all if the stocks tank but they look like good positions to be in right now. This is money I do not need in the next few years so I consider it my gambling money to hopefully make a large gain. I was planning to use $10000 to buy around 3 positions but when JNUG fell I doubled down so I will stick with these two until I sell and look for another stock. Thanks again for this thread.
