You can claim anything you want as a defense. But unless you’re an active trader, with a real history of making “huge trades”, doubtful that this would work out for you. And even if it did, by the time your defense attorney gets done with you and your bank account, and after your company has fired you… I’m doubting that the pain would be worth the experience.
