Should I have any concern about a "share class change" of my retirement account?

The XXXX Index share class currently offered within your plan will change to a new share class within the month of February to a share class which has a lower expense ratio than the share class currently offered in your plan. The fund’s investment objective, strategies and risk remain the same.
Is there anything that I need to know about this besides my expense ratio is changing? TIA

This is a good thing. Don't worry about it.

Full fee disclosure is coming in a few months for qualified plans. Most providers with high fees are trying to reduce the sticker shock by changing to lower cost funds now.

I had some Vanguard funds do this once I had them built up enough to jump up to Admiral.
A few more $100k and I'll be an OT Baller.
