Petrobras (PBR) interest on equity

What exactly does this mean? From a quick search, it seems like it’s a dividend return to shareholders (but not called that for tax purposes.) In the Schwab app, it shows there is a .12 dividend coming up, but the interest on equity is paid to shareholders in 2 payments in August/September which will be roughly .70/share. Do companies that pay these generally pay dividends and ioe?
