$dust token and the community, essentially a tight-knit group of high IQ degens that really like frank. they hired a dev away from coinbase too. sol big brain put 33.3% in his profile. a lot of people think its going to be the premier NFT on sol now. still too early for that proclamation but the momentum was really good before the war lol

but ive realized sol users are just less sophisticated overall so its hard to have a conviction on anything long-term.

agreed. there are very few things that i have minted lately that i want to hang onto long term. most projects seem to have initial pumps and then bleed out to a slow death on sol.

the only long hold project i currently own that's not gaming is mindfolk.

gaming projects that i hold/held that i think have potential are guild saga, remnants (sold mine a while back RIP), defi land, photo finish

Man I thought I’d be able to mint 5 guild saga through the first few phases, but it’s 3 max. Might actually be some left for pubs.

Question for the NFT gurus. I have almost zero experience, but have spent time grinding some Terra nft projects. Today, skeleton punks minted on luart. I used my WL to mint a few for 110 UST each. Supply is 5064. Once public, sold out in 10 seconds and has since had the highest daily volume and seelout time ever on luart. Floor is 4.5 luna

I got lucky and minted 1 of 8 custom 1:1 nfts. One sold for 150 luna already.

What strategy should I take to get the most/safest return? Hold for weeks? Sell immediately? Help!

if it’s anything like other Luna nft projects I’ve been in, I’d list at 150 and hope someone grabs it.

But it really depends on what you’re looking for and how the community/project is. If it’s a strong community with a good roadmap/future plans for the project and you don’t need the liquid, hold it. If there isn’t much community and the project doesn’t have much of a roadmap, I’d let it go.

So it’s really up to how you feel about it. As much minting as I’ve done, I’ve never hit anything super rare like that, so congrats

art - utility - community

if it has all those things probably id consider it a long term hold.

with that said, you can also capitalize on FOMO from the quick sellout and flip right away for a large profit and then buy back in once the hype settles in a day or two

whats your theory on why luna nfts dont seem to have as much interest as other chains?

it’s kinda puzzling, but I think it has a lot to do with how the blockchains are marketed. Luna was always marketed more as a defi chain with anchor and mirror and UST. Solana was marketed more as eth with low fees, so it was more natural for people to go there for NFTs and escape the high gas fees. I think the majority of their investor bases are just very different.

However with the numbers he posted above, I might have to give terra NFTs another look since that’s pretty similar price action as a lot of sol NFTs. I just got burnt early on with a couple projects and never came back since I’ve had a lot of success in sol

Ask yourself would you pay 150 Luna for it, if not...sell it.

Holding the nft is a bet on the team and their connections. they will likely have to move on to new projects unless its an iconic set.

I've been wanting to get into nft. But this still seems dependent on the top layer 1?

Good point, hell no I wouldn't buy at that price.

Community is best I have seen for discord.

In 7 hours on secondary, they just passed 10k Luna volume. That is 1/4 of TOTAL hell cats volume, which is the current luna premium NFT.

Roadmap and project look great.

Another 1:1 has been sitting on secondary since launch at 333 luna and hasn't sold yet.

I have 4 others also. All in the top 30% rarity. Lucky day for me for sure

What I struggle with is that my rare nft has the same utility as the commons. If utilities and community are great, why not sell the rare and buy more common? Just for resalability?

if you don’t have the desire to own a 1/1 or really rare nft, I would definitely sell the rare and buy a common. Commons (floors) are much easier to sell when the time comes.

That's what I was thinking. Might just throw it out there and see what happens. If 150 and 166 have sold and 333 hasn't. 225?

This whole thing is crazy to me.

Eth nfts probably have 20x market cap over the competition. Its amazing what devs are doing to keep assets on the main chain. I dont know how long people will fight it before they abandon eth. A long time I guess.
