Markets have gone on a little run but I'm unconvinced until I see what Asia does. I'd feel ALOT better if we could get through the resistance 750-800 without a big recoil but I dont think we're there yet.

Do you think what we’ve seen recently in crypto has anything to do with The Chinese New Year like some are suggesting?

nah, I don't. I think any influence from that is minimal.
I think the first crash was korea FUD + tax time.
I think this crash was US/China/Credit Card/Tether/Bitfinex FUD with some folks who had been in the game before ETH mooned taking profits and cutting profit losses- the evidence for the last point being the fact the dip stopped around 530-550, early DEC levels.
IF we are in recovery mode now (and I stress IF), without significant FUD, I expect the market to be more stable moving forward simply because of the new money. New investors who bought in at 500-800 are going to be less likely to part with their coins at 1.2k-1.5k than investors who bought at $30.
But "bad" articles come out all the time and the crypto market only infrequently adheres to the rules of TA.

Y’all are crazy if you think Asia does anything but sell these modest gains from today

FWIW, the EMA 12 and 26 lines on the 1h ETH graph have intersected in a bulltrend.

I wish I knew what the hell all of this meant. I can at least infer that it's good news, so there's that.

About 10k ETH is all that stands between us and 800. Can we do it?

These Asians are starting to annoy me. They get to wake up to us bullishly optimistic Westerners having bumped up the markets, have some coffee, do a little work, then crash the fricking things while we sleep.
Assholes.
Assholes.

Not gonna lie, following crypto has made me a tad racist.
They crash everything no matter what they do.
We build it up, they crash it.
Their govts spread FUD and cause a crash.
I ask, if all they do is sell off our buildup, would china banning them from ever interacting with us ever again really be that bad?

I mean, that’s a LOT of potential money
