Yeah, I should probably just say that.

As much as we might see ETH being independent of BTC, it isn't really there just yet.

ETH has proven it can go up when BTC remains flat - it has not proven it can stay flat when BTC goes down.

Exactly. And I think that latter part is the important one. It managed to resist a little bit when all of this first started a few days ago, but it followed suit before too long.

That's the cash advance fee. People will get hit with 25% interest if the balance is not paid off. On top of the purchase fee.

I don't really care for them, personally. Totally not surprised by that move. I fully expect most big banks to follow that model, too.

So I haven't tested this out, but you can't put USD directly onto GDAX, correct? It has to come from Coinbase (or some other exchange)? But what you're saying is transferring from Coinbase to GDAX takes about 4 days?

I do everything through GDAX. It technically comes through Coinbase but I never log into Coinbase to do it

We've been sitting around 710-720 for a couple hours now.

I'm a little concerned as this is generally followed by an explosion in either direction when the market is teetering like this.

I'd like to think it'll go up but uhhh

Was that for a credit card purchase or debit? Credit cards have been banned.

Credit card holders from four U.S. banks have been barred from purchasing cryptocurrencies using credit cards at Coinbase, the exchange has confirmed. According to the firm's latest tweet, credit card users from JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Citi and Capital One are all currently prohibited from purchasing cryptocurrencies at the platform.

Yeah, I noticed when I logged out of Coinbase, it logged me out of GDAX, too. So GDAX is definitely dependent on Coinbase and you'd have to have an account with both.
