Not to mention, it would make me hesitant to convert it to ICX or VEN with it continuing to rise like it is.

If you are that worried you are putting in more than you can emotionally or financially handle. If you want to test the waters and your constitution is weak just start with $25 dollars. No one is looking down on you.

If anyone worried about the alt market tanking when you’re asleep cause it’s up but you don’t want to move it to fiat, the tether coin stayed at almost exactly $1 throughout the last crash. It is termed the US dollar coin and it seems to be very consistent at that price. That’s not advice just look it up and see if my logic makes sense lol

Also like the USD tether is printing like crazy to the tune of $100-$300mil daily to prop up BTC.

Are you worried about losing $5? I’d recommend suppressing your expectations for it to fall dramatically like it did earlier this week anytime soon. Highly doubtful

What is everyone's opinion on ICX vs. VEN from a EOY perspective?
Trying to figure out where to consolidate gainz and hodl after they both run in the coming weeks.
Probably too early for a meaningful assessment but sooner we know the better. A week is an eternity.

So ICX has their mainnet launch on 24 JAN and the ICON summit on 31 JAN. Additionally it will be added to a couple Korean exchanges rumors are coinone and okcoin by the end of February. Apparently there is some sort of regulatory prohibition on new account for Korean exchanges that is removed on 26 JAN.
VEN’s unofficial PR account today tweeted about a coalition with the People’s Bank of China. Additionally VEN is going to roll out their mainnet and PoS sometime this year as well.

In short term i could see icx outperforming VEN, longterm... strong feeling VEN will be on a different level.
Both are about as solid of investments as you can get in crypto though.

Ven mainnet and POS is set for q2 right now. Which is why i said in previous post can easily see icx outperforming VEN in short term (price wise)

This is basically my feeling. Bigger events coming forward with icx first.
My rough plan at the moment is 50/50 both until eom, icx gains to ven until their rebrand, then decide from there.
Reason I am not all-in-ing icx before their dates is ven still has some rumors of new info here and there in the next few weeks + korean FUD.

They both look to be as strong of alt bets as can be made right now. External factors will likely dictate EOY price — VEN tied to China and ICX tied to Korea. I own both and would also recommend looking into WTC, which is currently a relative strong value as it sits outside the top 50 market cap.

Seems like you and I are on same page. Im doing same, plus a cpl other alts i was hoping to 2-3x on and roll over to VEN.

I would hold until $100 then take profits to VEN but leave initial in ICX.

If one of my other hedges comes through in time, i’ll probably just keep my icx. Just depends on timing of things, im not locked into any moves.
