Awesome! I hope you get even richer. What is your email?

Got ID verified but still can't purchase more than $100.
Wtf?
Wtf?

Are you going through a credit card, or your bank account?
Posted on 5/1/17 at 10:28 am to LSUtoOmaha
I added credit card first. Confirmed the 2 small deposits. Then I uploaded front/back of my DL. Says I was confirmed, but I don't show the initial $100 purchase (even though it shows my $100 limit for the week was spent). And it hasn't shown anything about an increase anywhere.
I'm trying to add a checking account as we speak. Hope it doesn't hit $100+ while I'm fricking around with this

Yeah you need to do bank, the limit will be 2500.

I thought you could raise limits on the credit card as well with pics of you ID?
ETA: Course if this thing goes to $1000 like we're all hoping $20/unit won't matter much

Haha you are supposed to be able to, but I haven't tried it that way.
Also be careful thinking in absolute terms (Bitcoin is 1400, why not Ethereum). The price is relative to quantity of "shares" so getting the same market cap will be at a vastly different price.

Got it.
What is your hopeful valuation of ETH in say, 6 months?

I said this in my first post in here about not valuing ETH like BTC. Right now about $250 on ETH would equal the current BTC price. With that said, I don't think $150 is ridiculous on this ETH. It's got alot more functionality than BTC. Longer term, I can see it being many times larger than BTC with corporations actually using the blockchain which they refuse to do with BTC. I dont know the timeframe but higher in 1 year.

What's your short term and long term plans with it?

These cryptocurrencies have major implications on all businesses moving forward. Bitcoin was an incredible first step, but its lack of transparency kept alot of people out of it. Ethereum had advanced on alot of the things bitcoin didn't do, and with a real management team behind it. The big corporations using it are proof of concept that they're interested in the blockchain when its legit. Id love to have more but for whatever reason coinbase only allows us to buy a set amount.
I've stated I would buy it up until $100 initially but realistically anywhere under a $10B market cap which $125 or so its probably fine as thats still 50% less than the value of BTC. Im just going to hold it, its a trade like anything else, but this is everything people who were scared of bitcoin should be embracing, its answered alot of the questions that early BTC adopters had.

Finally got my account linked. I've never seen any kind of investment opportunity that limited the amount you could invest. If I want to lose all my money, let me lose it!

What now?
I hate how the price can be quite different based on which exchange you look at.
