A lot of people are still figuring our that Bittrex is screwing them out of the gas on their NEO holdings and moving to Binance, so many feel the BNB coin is undervalued.
It's a great deal to buy BNB, have it shoot up, and then get 1/2 price trade fees if you use it to pay for trades.
Once the coins are being used for fees, they will be constantly removed from circulation, so Binance should be able to control supply.

Sorry if this has been addressed. I just opend Bitfinex account for sole purpose of buying IOTA. Assuming I can still transfer ETH to the exchange wallet there, buy IOTA then transfer to a wallet that stores IOTA. As long as I'm not trying to cash out I should be fine? Correct?

Concerning IOTA, do you expect another exchange will pick it up?
I figure I can either exchange my IOTA for another coin and deposit that onto another exchange, but I'd like to keep my IOTA. I'm just afraid that I'll have it all on a wallet but not have a way to sell out of it if I wanted to do so.

I think so. As of yesterday that was still the case and I moved OMG out today. Couldn't move USD though.

Seems like too much hype on reddit, blogs, etc for them not to get picked up on another exchange. IMO

IOTA devs have confirmed listing on at least one US based exchange well before Bitfinex deadline. Bitfinex also indicated that they were working with other exchanges to help get IOTA listed.

No. Your account will still be there. However, if you log in from computer identified from US you won't be able to trade. You can use a VPN connection that will not show you are from US and would be ok.
CNET cheapskate just had one with 3 year subscription for about $30 so I got it. I'm sure there are free ones but it was normally $99/year and cnet email hit me right when I was looking for one.

It's finally making a comeback and hopefully testing highs again soon.

They are in talks to honor the gas.
Imo, I wouldn't abandon bittrex because of this one thing

Not completely, but I'm hoping so. I got most of mine around 0.0000517 BTC, but was still kicking myself for not selling earlier. It started to make it's run yesterday around this time, so hopefully it does it again today.

That would be nice since I had my NEO there for a while. Biggest reason to be on Binance right now is the ability to sell GAS and buy the BNB coin that has been killing it while NEO has been down.
