I would 100%. I would then just convert as needed. However, the only crypto I would actively accept with regards to selling something large, like a car, home, etc would be btc.

For example, I find it safer to use this method when purchasing say a motorcycle from a buyer as opposed to walking around with 5K+. Much harder to get ripped off.

well you might also be waiting with the guy sending you BTC for hours...

Let me tell you about Pulsechain....

Well what if you sold your house valued at $1mm for the listed price of $1mm and they buyer used cryptocurrency for the purchase.

You sign the contract to accept the crypto currency and everything is fine for 30 days and then the day before the closing, the value of the cryptocurrency drops 25%.
Would that matter to you?

Simple, write the contract that the day of the sale, you get a USD value in whatever medium of exchange you are using.
yea for real... when you are paying with assests you based the price off the day and time of the sale... not what it was a month ago.

Ask El Salvador how Bitcoin is working….

El Salvador expected to default as bitcoin plummets The Central American country made the cryptocurrency legal tender last year, but since then, it has continued to fall, raising concerns about whether it will be able to meet its next debt payment

I can name 44 countries that I don’t give a shite about.

Bitcoin is down over 35% since April. I’m enjoying the carnage. Keep telling me how great of an idea it is.

And herein lies the fallacy of it all.
if you have to put a provision in that the ultimate payment is in USD the what’s the point of accepting cryptocurrency to begin with !?

I can explain a lot of this but I can’t understand if for you.

I’ve never bought a dimes worth of crypto.

Try again……

My energy stocks are rocking though. Why would I buy someone else’s currency. It’s a get rich quick scam.

that's a pretty sad thing to say. At least you're honest tho. Bitcoin is down and it still has more room to go, but be sure to return here when the next bull market starts. And I don't own any bitcoin, but it'll do what it has always done with time.

I swapped to energy in March. I also sold 50% of my equity stocks. $500,000 ready for when the market bottoms out. For the year I am up 7%.

Even an idiot like me could see this coming.

0% crypto. Keep holding.

Oh ok, my bad. You are upset at the amount of gains the past years and trying to make yourself feel better because it crashed. You will also be back dunking on us again in a few years when bitcoin drops from 120k to 60k

I am not sure you understand what a fallacy is if this is your rebuttal.

Why is gold valued in USD?

So you aren’t in a crypto thread to discuss crypto. You’re in a crypto thread to brag about your gains since March when you have no idea how well some have done on crypto. Got it.
