I believe EVMs are the future. Run ETH smart contracts on the Solana blockchain with NEON or Velas.

Of course ETH could get their stuff together and our L2 and EVM plays go to 0.

L2s are the official roadmap of Ethereum. The future of the network is a settlement layer for other chains.

rollups are not only going to post proofs to ETH. they'll be profit driven and chain agnostic

eth maxis love to think that all these new devs are just going to pump their bags. not gonna happen. BTC maxis believe the same crap fwiw

From a Rollup perspective no chain provides the level of security of Ethereum (aside from Bitcoin, but actually being a Bitcoin L2 is a pretty monumental task), but yes it would be silly as a business decision for a rollup to not roll up every L1 network they feasibly can. They'll just deploy new rollup chains for other L1s. Exceptions may be Cardano (Hydra is their own in-house rollup solution on the roadmap) and Solana (already basically does rollups in the L1).

I’ve looked into it. I honestly don’t get the point. But SHIB is also pointless so that doesn’t meme there isn’t money to be made. But scope doesn’t seem meme potential and looks like some old folks “needing to get in the crypto space”. Read the “white paper” (6th grade PowerPoint) twice and still don’t get it. Sorry.

Masterclass

Scope is a better version (considerably) of Masterclass a 2 billion dollar company. I'll link the Creatstep website when it goes live. You need an admin log in to see it. It looks done though.

Check out the masterclass website that I linked. You have A list people on there giving classes. It's not interactive. CreatStep will be interactive. The CEO and co-founder has connections with these people. He has been in the biz for decades.

CreatStep will probably be adding Cameo in the future also. They were talking about it today for the first time.

Them linking the Scope coin to Creatstep makes it useful as long as they find success with the latter. They have had some massive spikes, but seem to be pretty stable where it rest right now.

Watch the video on the scope website. It's short and shows the platform. I personally think it's revolutionary. You can take guitar lessons one on one with Slash if you want. (Just an example of an interactive masterclass)

scope website with video of the platform

The Co-founder is a grammy winning music executive and some of the other guys involved have a massive following on social media for classical music. They have the connections and keep saying once the platform is launched, they will promote Creatstep.

I have seen a few of the videos already. It's not A listers, but they are known in their fields.

I know what masterclass is… but what makes it better with scope?

Masterclass isn't interactive.

Creatstep is interactive. The masterclasses are just the Q1 portion of it. The entire platform is so much more.

The video on the website shows the platform in action which is much better than I can explain it. It's like 90 seconds long. Let me know what you think.

Same, that's why I have been trying to get everyone to watch the video of the platform. It's going to steal market share, a $2 billion + industry, from masterclass and offer vastly improved services and more services than masterclass.

How does that relate to tokenomics though? I'm intrigued by the product, bought some, and would like to get more, but I'm not sure how the token increase in value.

Me and some fam got deeeep into Bitcoin/crypto over a few bourbons last night it was great
