I put a little money in $SCOPE, but its utility still isn't clear to me. The MC and project utility were enticing though.
Scope is the currency for their platform Creatstep. It's how you will pay professionals.

the deflationary tokenomics of luna are really appealing. basically, the more demand UST (a stablecoin) the more valuable luna becomes
among other things, its a bet that people will continue to stake UST for ~20% yield

matic, luna are probably my favorite plays right now and yea the UST 20% yield is pretty appealing for risk off

Thanks. The potential here is great if the team delivers.

I don't know enough about Luna, but I agree with Matic outpacing others next year. I'm following another L2 that I'll bring to the board when it's time. They haven't released a token yet and are still on test net.
You guys keep saying tidbits about Luna, but I still don't understand. Is it BNB with 2 the token smart contract platform except one of the tokens is a stable coin?

Agreed. They let some of us on telegram into their website with the developer log in info. It's all legit and close to being live. They say Q1, but it looks ready to me.
Anyone in VLX? I'm curious as to the thoughts on it.

Y’all should look into Contentos. Very cheap and has a lot of good stuff going on.

So it’s like time? Chronotech
They have a part time contract system setup to hire and pay people with time (not the ohm fork)
I accidentally bought some, looked into it and like it. Been in operation a few years

Serious question, where do I look? Are there highly reputed blogs out there where I can learn about alt coins and use cases?
It seems like there are millions of blogs or twatter feeds, but a lot of them seem biased and pumpish. Looking for unbiased info that describes a coin in a similar fashion as a stock.

By the time something hits in Coinbase, is it too late?

If something is pumping on the news of getting added to coinbase from what I’ve noticed is it actually goes down after being added. So if you are trying to get a quick flip I wouldn’t recommend doing it on something that has just been added to coinbase.
But for mid to long term gains no definitely not too late after being added to coinbase

There are some similarities, but a ton of differences. I'll get a video for you guys of the platform.

Thanks. I'm starting to look into this more. Wish I had last year. My goal this year is to plan and research better, then be more disciplined and stick to it.

people are already buying groceries with ust in some places in the orient. if anchor/mirror can handle a downturn and they can release an INTL capable visa atm card its game over. I think that is the prize everyone is chasing.
Posted on 12/18/21 at 10:51 am to down time
Yeah chai has millions of users in Korea. Kash.io has checking accounts and savings accounts using anchor to get 19-20% interest and they have a debit card coming soon. I think they’re working with MasterCard. Alice is another one that’ll be similar to Venmo, but you’ll make 19-20% on the ust you have there.

Mastercard will also work. Would you trust magic internet money $MIM with your ust looping back into anchor w/degenbox? I'm scared mim may do the ultimate magic trick and vanish.
Looking for safe ways to leverage my ust. Probably go the aust into mirror route.
Matic has a usdc lp paying a percent or two higher than anchor.

quote:I haven’t looked into it enough to recommend either way, but I’ve seen do kwon (cofounder of terra) tweet about it a good bit and I know he bought a few mill of Spell, so that makes me feel a little ok about it. I’ve been meaning to look into this for a while, so I’ll try to this weekend.

quote:I did some of this a while back and one thing you have to be wary of is that when you mint an asset using aust, you’re technically shorting it. So as the value of that asset goes up, your collateral ratio rises to where you could potentially get liquidated if it rises enough. It’s not an issue if you’re just holding the asset, but if you’re doing degen shite like putting that asset in an LP, it could get you in a bind.
