Agreed, completely depends on the field and if you are joining a private practice, joining a hospital system, or starting your own clinic.
Personally, I would stay away from psych if you are just doing it for the money. Dealing with psych patients all the time would be soul sucking, imo.

Plus most programs don't allow you to just go into a Psych NP track without any experience. That requires some time working at an actual psych facility.
