Northwest Biotherapeutics (NWBO)

My previous thread on this got anchored.. not sure why, but I'll try again.
Here is a link to the prior thread and the initial DD.
Hopefully linking an anchored thread doesn't trigger a double anchor or deletion.
There are a couple of short term events here now so just wanted to bump this name.
1) 10-Q is being released 8/16. Company hasn't said a peep since the last quarterly so nobody knows what is going on. More than likely nothing will be revealed in this 10-Q, but it's still an event.
2) It was just confirmed they'll be publicly presenting, and are a major Platinum sponsor, at the ABTA (American Brain Tumor Association) conference on Sept 11. Looks like it's a minor discussion, but still is their first public appearance since their Phase III data lock in October.
3) Still waiting on their projected late Q3 release of the certification of their manufacturing site in the UK.
I'd currently rate this a swing play, not a long term hold. I'm a little skeptical of the significance of their Phase 3 results, seeing as it's been 9 months since they data locked and still haven't released TLD. That's some serious red flags to me.
However, the short term events could lead to a 50% spike in share price or more over the next 60 days.
Again, this is a high risk play. If negative TLD results come out (which could happen literally any day) the stock is going back to $0.20 in a day. I personally think September is the earliest we'll see TLD, so there is some room to swing trade it if you're not interested in a high risk binary event.

Thanks for posting a new thread. Although this is a high risk stock I personally think it is worth considering.
The fact that their Phase III data have taken so long to get unblinded is the source of my interest. People normally die within a couple of years of diagnosis. The fact that a study has dragged on and on is very hopeful and implies a strong likelihood of DCVAX being effective in at least prolonging life in what is normally a rapid death sentence from glioblastoma.
But this interpretation could absolutely turn out to be nothing and no one should invest anything they aren't willing to lose.

Standard bump.
Up about 20% since last update. If you are interested in the swing, I think ~$1.60 is the max I would have targeted.
Apparently they just got a patent approved that people are excited about. Not quite sure I understand the implication but that is helping this run. Along with anticipation of MHRA approval at their UK manufacturing site.
Other than that, not much changing. Still just twiddling thumbs and waiting on that TLD.
Still a great entry point IMO to play a binary event if you’re looking to gamble.

Bump. Is this thread anchored?
If not, company just released a PR saying that the trial would be discussed by Linda Liau, the lead investigator, at an upcoming conference on May 10.
Absolutely no idea if this is trial results. I actually suspect it may not be. But it also may be.
Either way, the company has been mum on the trial for over a year and a half. This is the first PR they’ve released addressing the trial so directly since data lock in October of 2020. The conference sent out a blurb saying that Dr Liau would be discussing “exciting updates” regarding the trial. I can’t fathom that exciting updates are a bad thing.
Anybody still in this with me? I know it’s been a while and massive patience has been needed ha. I accumulated a good bit more during the down period. Might be a good time to buy as a swing play running up to May 10.
